Shri. T.K. Chandiran, appointed as Chairman and Managing Director from 05 June 2012, is an alumnus of Sri Venkateshwara University and holds a master's degree in Commerce and BGL. With over forty years of experience in retail jewellery, textile showrooms, and power generation, he is the founder chairman of The Chennai Silks, SCM Group of Companies, and Sree Kumaran Thanga Maligai — a leading textile and jewellery manufacturer, exporter, and retailer since 1991. Under his direction, the group diversified into renewable power generation in 2005. Presently he also serves as Managing Director of "The KTM Jewellery Limited" and Director of "KKV Gold N Retail Limited".
